I'm not sure, but my game keeps freezing at the same point ever since the update.

There is a bug where things freeze up if you have a mod enabled, even the official SDK thing you download from them. Make certain at the start to click MOD and turn off anything at all. Even if you never used it, or forgot it was there, it can still cause problems.
