2020 AD is the year that marks the 20th year of the 3rd millennium and the 21st century. This is the year during which a standard game ends in Sid Meier's Civilization (when playing on Emperor difficulty) and Civilization II, and if no player has achieved any of the possible victory conditions, the player with the highest score wins.
