The Ancient Age is the first age in Civilization: Call to Power. It is followed by the Renaissance Age.

The Ancient Age began with the discovery of Agriculture. With more food, cities grew quickly and knowledge expanded. Bronze Working and seafaring expanded a civilization's power of its world. Meanwhile, Religion and Bureaucracy bound together the growing complexity of ancient life.
