The Babylonian civilization (Babylonians) is a default civilization in Civilization II.
Color
The Babylonians are a green civilization. A game that includes them will not also include the Japanese or Zulus.
Leaders
The default male leader of the Babylonians is Hammurabi (c. 1810–1750ish BC), the 6th king of the 1st Babylonian dynasty. He united most of Mesopotamia under Babylon and is remembered for his legal code.
The default female leader is Ishtari, a misspelling of Ishtar, the Akkadian name of the Sumerian goddess Inanna and the planet Venus.
Babylonian leaders only use the default titles.
Personality
The Babylonian AI is rational, perfectionistic, and civilized.
City list
The default Babylonian city list is a mix of Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonian, Assyrian, Parthian, and archaeological sites. "Tell" or "Tel" is Egyptian Arabic for "hill", used for the mounds created in the Mesopotamian plain by submerged ruins. Other names (e.g. Khorsabad) are those of the modern towns nearest the ruins of ancient cities.
