Carthage (city)

Carthage, also known as Carthago, is the Carthaginian capital and a Phoenician and Roman city in the Civilization and Call to Power games and the Phoenician capital in C-evo, and also appears as a city-state. In real life, it was the capital city of ancient Carthage, on the eastern side of the Lake of Tunis in what is now present-day Tunisia.

In scenarios, it may appear as the Vandal capital and a Western Roman city in Fall of Rome.

Carthage appears as a city-state in vanilla Civilization VI. With the introduction of the Phoenician civilization in the Gathering Storm expansion pack, Carthage became a Phoenician city and was replaced by Ngazargamu.
