Cloaking revolutionized warfare. With advances in camouflage, stealth technology, and invisible light spectrum coating - cloaking became commonplace to protect units and infantry from radar and other advanced detection methods. However, scientists had not developed a means to cloak anything in the visible light spectrum until the invention of phantom technology. Based on the conventions of rift gates and wormholes, scientists learned how to camouflage objects behind a temporal cloak, which rendered the object invisible.
