In the Civilization games, a "Culture Bomb" can be activated to automatically claim nearby tiles, even if they already belong to another civilization. The means of activating it vary from game to game: it may be triggered by using a unit's ability, or by building certain tile improvements or districts while playing as a particular civilization or leader.
