Dido was the founder of Carthage alongside with its 1st Queen. She was a former citizen of the city of Tyre, in which she fled from after the murder of her brother, Acerbas, under the hands of Pygmalion of Tyre. She would have fled from the city to modern-day Tunisia to found what would be then the Kingdom of Carthage. She leads the Phoenicians in Civilization VI: Gathering Storm.
