Domestication is an advance in Civilization: Call to Power.

Summary[]

Domestication begins the Aggressive War branch, opening the road to mounted units with the Mounted Archer, a swift scout. Domestication also gives the Marketplace, as pack animals allow farmers, merchants and miners to carry wares to distant but profitable locales.

Many millennia passed before man domesticated animals - wild animals were used as a source of food and clothing. Domestication was not without its challenges either - animals suitable for domestication required that they be socially inclined and tractable, and possess the ability to breed in captivity.
