The sixth Construction Advance, Electrification, allows even small towns to have Movie Palaces, making people happy and giving an entire nation a single unified culture. On a military level, Listening Post can be built and used to report the enemies' whereabouts from a distance.

Electricity opened the way for many new technologies and in the process, revolutionized the structure of our cities. In order to distribute Electricity, each home required its own electric wire connected through power stations to a generator. Later homes needed telephone lines as well, and nations required elaborate switching systems to maintain a central phone system. Through this network, Electrification expanded public space from the city center across the entire nation and spun a web of interconnected experience over thousands of miles
