Kandake is a form of government from the Gifts of the Nile scenario in Civilization VI. It is unlocked after discovering the Royal Dynasties civic.

The rulers of Nubia practiced co-rulership between royal husband and wife. A kandake, or queen, had as much or more power as her husband, with the ultimate form of veto—should the king displease the kandake, she could order him to take his own life.
