Fortification is a technology from the Gifts of the Nile scenario in Civilization VI.

Civilopedia entry[]

As the fortunes of the Nile people grew, so did the envy of their neighbors. Consequently, the Egyptians and Nubians built permanent fortresses at least as early as the Second Millennium BCE. These fortress settlements typically had massive mud brick walls, allowing them to exert control at strategic points of the Nile.
