Ive been playing the standard Civ II WWII scenario as Russian. I push my engineers east across the plains building rail to get the armor west. I make all the eastern russian places build armor (and a few artillery for tactical reasons). I make fighters in the west to stop the the german bombers (and I've tried just building armor there too). But I just cant BOTH get to Paris AND take the Balkan regions, never mind the neutrals like Turkey.
I THINK I should be getting at the Allies but I just can't seem to manage it. What am I failing to do?

- I wonder what level you are on. In my (not very many) games as Russia, I don't remember getting near Paris. Berlin was hard enough, even with rail and howitzers. Have you used a few Engineers to build new cities where there are good bonus tiles? And are you swapping technology with many nations? -- Robin Patterson (Talk) 22:04, February 4, 2014 (UTC)
