Genghis Khan (c. 1160 – 18 August 1227), born Temüjin, was the first great khan of the Mongols, adopting the title in 1206 after uniting the nomadic tribes of the Mongolian steppes under his rule. He then began a series of military campaigns into China, Persia and Mesopotamia that led to the establishment of the Mongol empire, which would go on to become the largest contiguous land empire in history after his death. He is a leader in Civilization VII.
He is available as part of the Right to Rule Collection DLC, which is scheduled to be released between now and September 2025.
