God of the Forge (Civ6)

God of the Forge is a Pantheon in Civilization VI. It increases Production toward Ancient and Classical military units by 25%.

Strategy[]

God of the Forge is a particularly useful pantheon for civilizations like the Aztecs, Egyptians, Macedonians, Nubians, Persians, and Sumerians, whose unique units are available in the first two eras of the game. The Production bonus can help them raise an army rapidly and rush unprepared neighbors to gain an early advantage. Civs whose military strength doesn't manifest until later, however, should probably select a different pantheon unless the player intends for a major military push early on anyway.
