- Main article: Leaders (Civ2)
The default male leader of the Greeks is Alexander. Alexander the Great (356–323 BC) was an Argead king of Macedon who successfully conquered the Persians. Although his kingdom lay on the Greek periphery and his empire was divided among his generals upon his death, he is still generally credited with the hellenization of the Near East for the next 1000 years.
The Greek AI is expansionist and militaristic.
City list Edit
- Main article: City (Civ2)
When this list is completed, the game continues with the names in the extra cities list. When that list is completed, the game cycles back to the top of this list with "Athens" again.
- Main article: Scenario (Civ2)
In the Rome scenario, Alexander's empire has been divided up among his generals: the Seleucid Greeks (using Chinese settings) under Antiochus control southwest Asia from Seleucia in Mesopotamia; the Ptolemaic Greeks (using Spanish settings) under Ptolemy control Egypt from Alexandria beside the Nile delta; and the Macedonian Greeks (using Viking settings) control northern Greece proper from Pella. The Ind. Greeks and Allies (using Greek settings) include Delphi, Rhodes, Pergamum, and Massilia, controlled by Hiero from Syracuse. Sparta remains overrun by the Celts (using Mongol settings).
