Hassan I is a playable leader from the Scramble for Africa scenario in Civilization V: Brave New World. He leads the Moroccans. He is a reused Ahmad al-Mansur.

Among the most successful sultans of the Alaouite dynasty, Mulay Hassan I (ruled 1873-1894) instituted sweeping military and administrative reforms to strengthen Morocco at a time when much of North Africa was falling under European control. Although both France and Spain would establish enclaves and demand favored status, Hassan proved adept at using Morocco's strategic position to play the European powers against each other, guaranteeing his nation's independence until after his death.

- In the game, the date of birth is incorrect, in fact, Hassan I was born in 1836, and 1873 is the beginning of his reign as Sultan of Morocco.
