The ICBM is an air unit in the Civilization games. Its name is an acronym for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile, and it is among the strongest and most devastating weapons in any Civilization game, rivaled only by the Tactical Nuke. Although it can't move, it doesn't need to as it can hit any visible tile on the entire map.
Nuclear weapons cause global warming in Civilization III and Civilization IV and lower your relations with both your target and AI leaders who are friendly to your target.
