The Incan people, also known as the Inca or Incas, represent a civilization in the Civilization and Call to Power games and a Native American tribe in the Colonization games. Their capital is Cusco, and they can be led by Atahualpa, Huayna Capac, Mama Cocha, Pachacuti, or Viracocha.
The Inca Empire began in 1438 and ceased to exist when it was conquered by the Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro in 1533. At its greatest extent, it stretched from Ecuador to Central Chile and was the largest empire that pre-Columbian South America had ever seen. Descendants of the people who were ruled by the Inca still live in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, and Argentina today.
Civilization II
The Incas were slated to appear in Civilization II, but were cut from the final version of the game.
