Incan cities are cities that can be founded by the Incan civilization in Civilization IV and its expansions. The first city founded is the Capital Capital, and the names of future cities are chosen in the order they appear on the list below.

The names listed are default names; players can change their cities' names if they choose.

1 Cuzco Capital of the Inca Empire from 1438-1539, located in southeastern Peru. Capital of the Kingdom of Cuzco before that, from 1197-1438. Today one of Peru's most populous cities, with over 400,000 people.
2 Tiwanaku Archeological site in Bolivia and one of the largest in South America, near La Paz and Lake Titicaca. Capital of the Tiwanaku Empire, which peaked with ~20,000 people around 800 A.D.
3 Machu Picchu Archeological site on a mountain in Peru, called the "Lost City of the Incas" and voted as one of the New Seven Wonders
4 Ollantaytambo Site of Incan victory led by a son of Huayna Capac, Manco
5 Corihuayrachina Quechua for "Gold-smelting oven". Name of several archeological sites and a mountain in Peru.
6 Huamanga Inca city that is today the capital of Huamanga province
7 Vilcas Vilcashuaman is Quechua for "Sacred Hawk", and was an Incan city in Peru with a population of ~40,000
8 Vilcabamba Quechua for "Sacred Plain". Capital of Neo-Inca state from 1539-1572.

10 Andahuaylas Quechua for "Copper Meadow", and home of the Chanka culture under the name Antawaylla
11 Ica City and region in Peru in the Atacama Desert, known for its Ica stones
12 Arequipa Second most populous city in Peru, founded when a Sapa Inca said "Are qepay" or "Let's stay here"
13 Nasca Pre-Inca culture in Ica valley known for geoglyphs and subterranean aqueducts

16 Chuito Shortened form of Chucuito, another name for Lake Titicaca. Quito, the capital of Ecuador, is written for this tag for Spanish and French languages.
17 Chuquiapo Name of river valley in present-day La Paz, the capital of Bolivia
18 Huanuco Pampa Incan administrative center in the middle of the Peruvian Andes
19 Tamboccocha Small village in the Sacred Valley, near Cuzco; or Lake Tambococha
20 Huaras Capital of the Ancash region in western Peru
21 Riobamba City in Ecuador and home to the Puruhá, who fiercely resisted Incan rule until Huayna Capac made an alliance with them, possibly by marrying the queen of Quito
22 Caxamalca Also known as Cajamarca, the site of Pre-Columbian culture later controlled by the Incas. The Spanish ambushed a son of Huayna Capac, Atalhuapa, at the Great plaza of Caxamalca.
23 Sausa First capital of Spanish Peru, also the name of its province and city district, in central Peru
24 Tambo Colorado Inca abode complex near Peruvian coast. Quechua name is Puka Tampu "Red resting place".
25 Huaca Quechua for a venerated object or shrine, usually an adobe brick pyramid

2 Chan Chan Largest indigenous city in South America by land area, and capital of the Chimor Kingdom, located in the Moche valley near Trujillo
3 Sipan Moche archeological site known for its Huaca Rajada, or adobe brick pyramid tomb
4 Pachacamac Archeological site with pyramids near Lima, Peru. Used by the Wari and later the Incas.
5 Llactapata Quechua for "High place". Five km east of Machu Picchu.
