The Industrial Ages is the third era in Civilization III. It is preceded by the Middle Ages and followed by the Modern Times.

Out of 23 technologies in the Industrial Era, only 15 technologies need to be discovered to advance into the next era.

In order to advance to the next era, all technologies must be discovered, except for those marked with the "No" symbol, specifically Nationalism, Communism, Espionage, Ironclads, Fascism, Amphibious War, Advanced Flight, and Sanitation.
