Jadwiga's Legacy is a scenario in Civilization VI that was released with the Poland Civilization & Scenario Pack.

Intro

Yours is a united nation, fusing the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania into a whole greater than the sum of its parts. You are a shining beacon amidst the chaos of Europe with your elected monarch, religious tolerance, and extensive legal rights shared by your magnates. But bright lights attract unwanted attention. Can you maintain the union you worked so hard to accomplish in the face of intractable foes?

Gameplay

In this scenario, you control one of three noblemen attempting to defend Poland from foreign invaders. Each player starts with two Settlers and much of the map already discovered.

This scenario uses a standard scoring system. At the end of 60 turns, the player with the highest score wins. If Vienna is razed by Barbarians, the scenario ends in defeat for all players.

Always Bet On Black Win Jadwiga's Legacy as Mikolaj "the Black" Radziwill. Mikolaj Krysztof Radziwill was a powerful noble who influenced the Grand Duchy of Lithuania to adopt Polish culture. Other than a play on his nickname, 'Always bet on black' is also a phrase from the film Passenger 57.

God-Like Legacy Win Jadwiga's Legacy at Deity difficulty. A reference to 'god' as a synonym for 'deity' as well as god-like being a common name for a winning streak in a game.

The Grandest of Hetmans Win Jadwiga's Legacy as Konstanty Ostrogski. Konstanty Ostrogsky was a magnate of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, and later a Grand Hetman of Lithuania until his death. He was a commander of the Lithuanian-Polish forces to repel and launch counter-attacks against Muscovy and the Tatars.

Winged Hussar Mastery Win Jadwiga's Legacy as Stanislaw Potocki. Stanislaw Revera Potocki was a Polish military leader. Together with another hetman, Stefan Czarniecki, they defeated Swedish and Russian invasions from 1655 to 1660. The Winged Hussars were a famous cavalry unit of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, to which these two hetmans belonged.
