Jeans are a unique Luxury Resource in Civilization VI. They are provided exclusively by the Great Merchant Levi Strauss.
Strategy[]
Jeans are most beneficial to either Montezuma (for the Combat Strength bonus they provide his units) or the Scots (for the Science and Production bonuses they receive when their cities are Happy or Ecstatic). Strauss provides two copies of them, so the extra one can be traded.
Civilopedia entry[]
Invented by Jacob Davis and Levi Strauss in 1873, jeans were born of the need for a sturdier pair of pants during the western gold rush.
