The Jet Fighter is an air unit available in later Civilization games.
A Jet Fighter is an upgrade from the basic Fighter. They range from the Mig-15 to the f-35. It is capable of bombardment, air superiority, fortification, recon, etc. Without it, armies wouldn't have modern capable air support at a few moments' notice.
