Kabaka's Lake is a unique tile improvement of the Bugandan civilization in Civilization VII. It must be built on a Flat tile.

Buganda was an empire of lakes. From their great raids against rival groups across ‘Nnalubaale (Lake Victoria) to their reliance on lake resources, the Baganda (the name of Buganda’s people) knew the lakes held their salvation. With this in mind, the kabaka (king) of Buganda, Mwanga II, constructed a lake (partially with his own hands to shame nobles who refused the hard labor) to be a strategic spot in the face of the British threat, which intensified in the late 1800s. Today, only one Kabaka’s lake remains in the city of Kampala, which is the largest man-made lake in the country – but there is no reason why local nobility might not build their own.
