The Leiomano is an Exploration Age Unique Tier 1 
Infantry Unit of the Hawaiian civilization in Civilization VII. It replaces the Swordsman.

- Exerts zone of control.
- +3
Combat Strength against Infantry and Cavalry Units. - +5 Combat Strength when defending against Heavy Naval Units.
- Can be upgraded twice to Tier 2 and Tier 3 Leiomano.
- Civ bonuses:
- Mana II: Grants Culture equal to 25% of an enemy Unit's Combat Strength when defeating it.

How can weapons of war be fashioned without metal, obsidian, or flint? For the Hawaiians, the answer was found in the sea. The leiomano, the shark’s lei, is a broad wooden club rimmed with tiger shark teeth, which put the power of a shark's bite into the hands of individual Hawaiian warriors.
Hawai’i hasn't always been a unified archipelago. Some areas and islands had different kings, and these kings often engaged in bloody battles of conquest – until the rise of Kamehameha in the late 1700s. This leader engaged in a broad system of conquest to unite the fractious isles through outrigger, spear, and shark-tooth club.
