Life Extension is an advance in Civilization: Call to Power.

Summary[]

Life Extension, the 6th Electrical Advance, offers immortality to man. By offering citizens the chance to literally "relive their youth," the Body Exchange increases a city's happiness. Also, the Immunity Chip increases happiness by 5 throughout the empire, as citizens are liberated from the oppressive threat of disease and protected from biological warfare.

Great Library entry[]

As the 25th century loomed, scientists achieved a final breakthrough in the human lifecycle. Using nanotechnology, scientists managed to grow fully adult bodies and to imprint these with existing neural networks. In effect, man had achieved immortality. Or, for those who just wanted something a little different, body swapping was an option for the day (and a popular therapy suggested by marriage counselors).
