Mao Zedong (26 December 1893 – 9 September 1976) was leader of the Chinese Revolution and founder of the People's Republic of China. He leads the Chinese in Civilization III.
Trivia[]
- Mao is replaced by other leaders (Taizong of Tang) in the Chinese version of the game, as the PRC censors references to its founder and would not want to portray his defeat in-game.
- Mao's Modern Times background is his Civilization II portrait.
