A Memento is one of the new game elements introduced in Civilization VII.

Mechanics

Mementos can be unlocked through the Foundation Path or any leader's Leader Path and can be slotted in a leader's Memento Slot during game setup. Each leader has a maximum of two Memento Slots, and they provide a variety of bonus effects. Mementos can also be enabled and disabled in multiplayer games.
