  • Hello again! From your latest addition to List of improvements, it seems to me you might do well to incorporate Starships into Template:Overview.

  • ...this file. I don't know if you knew it but images less than 200 px are not displayed in category pages at all (the only reason for me to replace them). Perhaps it's worth to increase them a little for the correct display? To be honest, it's very inconvenient - to see the wrong image of the page (or not to see any image).

    • That's the thing I'd like to do. And not only the civilization icons - leaders, units, technologies etc. Alas, they all (almost) have the same problem. (Fortunately, this is a problem that can be fixed).

  • Something seems to be causing the category to glitch at the moment. Might be just a temporary code conflict somewhere so a wait and see approach might be best for the moment? LogicEcho (talk) 13:15, March 1, 2019 (UTC)

  • By my reading of the history notes, that edit "lasted" barely 2 hours. But most of the material I have added 7 or more years ago is still there because I give a lot of thought to my edits, as I presume you do to yours. Kind regards.

    • It seems like i made an uncharacteristically tacitless comment. I am not sure what I was thinking. Keep up the good work.

    • I am sorry I said that. (I should have put that in the original comment)

  • I saw that you moved the R&F template in Great Merchant (Civ6) for the sake of consistency with other articles. I know that the convention is to place it after most elements introduced in Rise and Fall, but for abilities (of civilizations, leaders, or Great People) that were changed, I favor placing it either before the revised ability or in parentheses after it (possibly with "vanilla" in parentheses after the original ability's description). I support this because descriptions of abilities tend to be pretty wordy, and if the tag comes before the ability rather than after, people who are skimming the article can immediately tell when new or changed content from Rise and Fall is described without having to look for carefully-placed line breaks.

It's not that big a deal, but I wanted to toss that out for consideration. Arguments for or against or welcome.

    • I was torn when I made the edit too. I wouldn't mind changing its location. So long as we are consistant with all pages. I guess AWB could work there.

    • Looking at the other great people, it seems like you already did it. I guess I was wrong...

    • No worries, man. As long as we're being consistent, we're in good shape.

  • Hey by the way, I've nominated you for adminship here: Civilization Wiki:Requests for adminship. :)

  • I noticed you added the {{clear}} template before all the {{Resources (Civ6)}} template usages. That was good, but maybe it would've been easier to just add that {{clear}} right into the beginning of the {{Resources (Civ6)}} template itself. ;)

    • I tried if you saw the edit on the resources template itself.

    • Oops, sorry, I missed that edit of yours! Indeed, if you add the code right in front of the table markup, the whole template breaks down catastrophically. I believe the trick was to add the {{clear}} into its own line, before the table markup. It seems to be working now?

    • Also, if it seems like it's not working for some page after editing the template, you should refresh the page by selecting "Refresh" from the menu next to the "Edit" button. That's sometimes required when you edit a template that is included in the page.
