Back to the list of Policy Cards
Military-Industrial Complex is a Golden Age Policy Card from the Dramatic Ages game mode in Civilization VI. It is available from the Information Era to the Future Era and uses a Wildcard slot.
Strategy[]
Military-Industrial Complex is one of the best choices for a smaller civilization, or one that lacks late-game strategic resources. It is also a great choice for civs that use ranged units (or have a unique ranged unit) or just like quality over quantity when it comes to their military. Squeezing out a few extra units that need Oil or Aluminum while enhancing the quality of said units can easily give someone a winning edge in wartime.
Civilopedia entry[]
US President Dwight Eisenhower used the term “Military-Industrial Complex” to refer to the close ties between private industry and the military. The concept was not unique to the USA, and here it refers to these close links between heavy industries and the arms race.
