The Mill is a city improvement in Civilization: Call to Power.
Effect[]
The Mill increases the production of a city by 50%, harnessing water wheels to drive trip hammers or mill stones.
Great Library entry[]
Mill construction exploded during the Dark Ages and spread from the fifth to tenth centuries. Often run by the church, mills contributed strongly to the Agricultural Revolution. By the 11th and 12th centuries, the technology had spread further. The wool industry combined the trip-hammer, cam, and water wheel to create the fuller mill. Soon other industries borrowed the cam, beginning an industrial boom that lasted through the 20th century.
