Mines is a tile improvement in Civilization: Call to Power.

Gameplay[]

Mines create additional 5-15 production and 5 gold when worked. This improvement takes two turns to build and, depending on the terrain, costs 300-400 PW.

Great Library entry[]

Mining began in the Stone Age when Civilizations collected needed minerals buried just beneath the ground. Civilizations used these minerals to fashion better tools, weapons, jewelry, and religious items. Though dangerous, mines provided an essential source of resources for income, advancing technology, and culture.
