Legendary home to the gods of Greek mythology, Mount Olympus is the highest mountain in Greece and features over 50 peaks, the highest being Mytikas at 9,570 ft (2,917m). In mythology, the "War of the Titans" took place on and around Mount Olympus, when the gods of the Pantheon led by Zeus battled the elder Titans for supremacy.
