Nidaros is the Viking capital in Civilization IV: Warlords, the Norwegian capital in Civilization VI, and a Danish or Viking city in other Civilization games. In real life, it was the medieval name of Trondheim, a city at the mouth of the Nidelva in Norway that was the capital of the country's first Christian kings.
