Nobel Prize Competitions are scored competitions available when Sweden is present in the game.

Initiation ConditionsEdit

Starting in the Industrial Era, one of the 3 Nobel Prize competitions is randomly selected in regular World Congress sessions as a proposal. If passed, the selected competition begins when the World Congress session ends and expires in 30 turns.

Nobel Peace PrizeEdit

There is nothing so deserving of honor as a remarkable pursuit of peace.

Scoring Criteria Edit

1 point for each point of Diplomatic Favor (Civ6) Diplomatic Favor gained during the competition, including those gained from liberating city-states and Carbon Recapture city projects.

Rewards Edit

Civilizations that finish with the highest score will receive both Gold Tier and Silver Tier prizes.

GreatPerson6 Great Persons are awarded only if they are still available.

Scoring Criteria Edit

1 point for each Writer6 Great Writer, Artist6 Great Artist, or Musician6 Great Musician point earned.

Rewards Edit

  • Gold Tier (highest score):
    • +50 Album Sales for Rock Bands,
    • Rock Bands are 20% cheaper to purchase.
  • Silver Tier (top 25% of scores): +75 Album Sales for Rock Bands.
  • Bronze Tier (next top 25% of scores): +25 Album Sales for Rock Bands.

Civilizations that finish with the highest score will receive both Gold Tier and Silver Tier prizes.

Notes Edit

  • Nobel Prize competitions will no longer show up if Sweden gets wiped out of the game.
  • Nobel Prize in Literature and Nobel Prize in Physics, different from other Scored Competitions, do not grant a Diplomatic Victory point to the winner. Nobel Peace Prize, however, still does.
