Nobel Prize Competitions are scored competitions available when Sweden is present in the game.

Initiation Conditions

Starting in Industrial Era, one of the 3 Nobel Prize competitions is randomly selected in World Congress sessions as a proposal. If passed, the selected competition begins when the World Congress session ends and expires in 30 turns.

Nobel Peace Prize

Scoring Criteria

1 score for each point of Diplomatic Favor Diplomatic Favor gained during the competition, including those gained from liberating city-states and carbon recapture city projects.

Prizes

Great Person Great Persons are awarded only if they are still available. Thus, depending on the exact game, lower tiers may receive greater rewards.

Civilizations that finish with the highest score will receive both Gold Tier and Silver Tier prizes.

1 score for each Great Scientist Great Scientist, Great Engineer Great Engineer and Great Merchant Great Merchant point.
