Nobel Prize Competitions are scored competitions available when Sweden is present in the game.
Initiation Conditions
Starting in Industrial Era, one of the 3 Nobel Prize competitions is randomly selected in World Congress sessions as a proposal. If passed, the selected competition begins when the World Congress session ends and expires in 30 turns.
Nobel Peace Prize
Scoring Criteria
1 score for each point of Diplomatic Favor gained during the competition, including those gained from liberating city-states and carbon recapture city projects.
Prizes
- Gold Tier (highest score): 1 Great Musician, 1 Great Scientist
- Silver Tier (top 25% of scores): 1 Great Engineer, 1 Great Artist
- Bronze Tier (next top 25% of scores): 1 Great Artist
Great Persons are awarded only if they are still available. Thus, depending on the exact game, lower tiers may receive greater rewards.
Civilizations that finish with the highest score will receive both Gold Tier and Silver Tier prizes.
Nobel Prize in Physics
Scoring Criteria
1 score for each Great Scientist, Great Engineer and Great Merchant point.
