An Oil Well in Civilization V

Advanced production improvement. Requires Biology.

The Oil Well grants access to land-based sources of Oil and gives a large Production Production bonus to nearby cities.

The dry-land version of the offshore platform, a well is a late-game improvement which provides access to the crucially-important oil resource.
