Pachacuti (1410 AD – 1471 or 1472 AD), born Cusi Yupanqui, was the ninth Sapa Inca of the Kingdom of Cusco. Through both military campaigns and diplomatic overtures, he conducted a swift and far-ranging expansion of his kingdom that transformed it into the Inca Empire. He leads the Incans in Civilization III: Conquests.
