Game Info[]

Religious building. Can only be purchased with Faith Faith in cities following a religion with the Pagodas belief.

Strategy[]

Compared to the other religious buildings, Pagodas are the most balanced in terms of boosting Happiness Happiness, Culture Culture, and Faith Faith.

Note that you can only purchase a Pagoda in one of your own cities which has your religion as its majority religion (i.e., has your religious symbol to the right of its name).

Civilopedia entry[]

Commonly found throughout Asia, the Pagoda is an architectural style consisting of a multi-tiered tower typically featuring oversized eaves and a prominent finial at its peak. Most pagodas are associated with the Buddhist religion, as they were frequently constructed on or near Buddhist temple compounds in order to house sacred relics.
