Pikemen are a ground unit in Civilization Revolution.

Unit Analysis

Pikemen are the defensive units for the Medieval Era. They are best used in an Army and with upgrades like Engineer and Loyalty. They are highly useful against Knights and Catapults and are very good at defending cities.

Unique Replacements

Greek Pikemen are replaced by the Hoplite. It is available from the very beginning of the game, thanks to the Greeks' free knowledge of Democracy.

Japanese Pikemen are replaced by the Ashigaru Pikemen.
