Game Information

Pioneering is a Secondary Tech that can be researched from Habitation, you can also start with it for free if you inclue a Labratory in your Cargo at the start of the game.

Pioneering extends of Habitation to include key unit functions that are essential to a Civilization type game.  This includes the creation of Colonists (without whom outposts and cities cannot be established) and Trade Convoy units to establish trade.  It also allows for construction of the  Trade Depot Building.

There is no affinity linked to this technology.
