Polar Hill is a type of terrain in Civilization: Call to Power.
Gameplay[]
Polar Hills can support cities, though not as well as in the flatter lands. In addition, movement is slowed, and roads and mines are difficult to build. To their advantage, polar hills do afford a defensive bonus. Rivers greatly enhance this terrain.
Great Library entry[]
Rolling hills are the home of two of the most exotic and adored beans in history. There is evidence of an Incan cult worshipping the cacao bean in 200 BC. A thousand years later, an Arabic goatherd named Kaldi is commonly credited with inventing coffee. For the next seven hundred years, the drink was a carefully guarded secret until the Turks finally exported the first coffee beans to Venice.
