Allows land units to traverse this Coast tile. May only be constructed in a Coast tile with 4 or more land tiles adjacent to it. Constructed by an embarked Military Engineer, who is consumed by the construction of the Pontoon Bridge.

Pontoon (or "floating") bridges were used by both sides during the war to allow the rapid crossing of rivers by infantry, artillery and wagons; an innovative, light-weight design known as Cumberland Pontoons was especially crucial during the Union campaigns across the deep South.
