Alexandria, also known by its original Egyptian names of Rhacotis or Râ-Kedet, is the Egyptian capital in some of the Civilization games, and an Egyptian, Greek, and Macedonian city in others and the Call to Power games. In real life, it is the second largest city in present-day Egypt and home to the Great Library and Great Lighthouse.
In scenarios, it may appear as an Abbasid city in Middle Ages, an Allied city in World War II, an Ayyubid city in Into the Renaissance, and a Byzantine city in Fall of Rome.
