Reform the Coinage is a Golden Age Policy Card from the Dramatic Ages game mode in Civilization VI. It is available from the Renaissance Era to the Modern Era and uses a Wildcard slot.
Strategy[]
Reform the Coinage is the safest bet for the midgame, available from the Renaissance all the way to the Modern Era. It provides a hefty Gold profit - something which is useful in practically every situation - plus safety from pesky Barbarians looking for easy profits. The more developed the destination is, the more profit this card will bring you. This card is recommended for civilizations who focus on building their trade network with many Trade Routes, like Mali, the Cree, Egypt, Phoenicia, the Netherlands, England, Portugal and Spain.
Civilopedia entry[]
Coins are symbols – worth more than the metal inside. Or are they? Efforts to re-value coins could make or break an empire – especially when one considers that soldiers were often paid in coin and might get grumpy if they were given gold-painted lead instead of the real thing.
