Samarkand, also known as Samarqand or by its historical names of Maracanda and Marakanda, is the Mongolian capital and an Achaemenid, Mongolian, and Persian city in the Civilization and Call to Power games and C-evo, and also appears as a city-state. In real life, it is a city in present-day Uzbekistan.
