The Sangdaedeung is an Antiquity Age Unique 
Civilian Unit of the Silla civilization in Civilization VII. It replaces the Merchant.
- Attributes:
- Turns into a Trade Caravan or Trade Ship after creating a
Trade Route. - Grants +5 Gold per positive Relationship Level when creating a Trade Route (does not apply to City-States).
- Turns into a Trade Caravan or Trade Ship after creating a
- Actions:
- Build Road to Settlement
- Make Trade Route: Grants an additional +5 Gold per positive Relationship Level).

The Sangdaedeung has no research requirement as they are unlocked at the start of the Age.
Civilopedia entry[]
In Silla, the office of sangdaedeung was one of the highest ranks outside of the actual monarchy, and the highest of the jingol ranks (at least until the throne was opened to jingol). This official presided over the Hwabaek Council, and passed decisions on major matters affecting the kingdom.
