Back to the list of Policy Cards
Solidarity is a Golden Age Policy Card from the Dramatic Ages game mode in Civilization VI. It is available from the Atomic Era to the Information Era (Future Era in Gathering Storm) and uses a Wildcard slot.
Strategy[]
Solidarity's Faith bonus to cities with assigned Governors makes it a solid card for religious civilizations. The Gold bonus can also be useful for a warmongering civ looking for a way to avoid hard-building units. Civs such as Mali and Portugal, which specialize in Trade Routes and economic development, will benefit most from this card.
Civilopedia entry[]
During the Cold War, states put ideological pressure on their neighbors in a variety of ways. We can think of propaganda broadcasts over the border, leaflet drops, secret ideological cells, and, of course, the flood of hair metal and blue jeans into Eastern Europe. These shows of “soft power” were often organized and facilitated at the highest levels, and had a tremendous impact upon the eventual fall of the Berlin Wall and Soviet Union.
