The Spearman is the first defensive unit of the Ancient times . It begins with 3 units of health, and regains health quickly when fortified. Spearmen are good defenders, and especially helpful when placed on large cities while fortified. They require the Bronze Working technology advancement to create.

Some Cultures Contined to use Spearman into recent times One Notable example is the Zulu Culture of Southern Africa. Athough the Zulu managed to create a very large Alliance and empire Consisting of other tribes like the Swazi of what is now Swaziland and a few others they were eventually deafeated shortly after the battle of Islandwana of 1879. that was the last time in history that Spearman were used in large scale warfare.
